Voter Education

Learning about local government

Elections, elected officials and more

The League of Women Voters of Los Alamos conducts voter service and citizen education activities.

  • We sponsor candidate and issue forums prior to local, statewide and national elections. Check the events page for information about upcoming forums and other public meetings.

  • We publish a Voter Guide prior to major elections.

  • We publish Who's in Charge, a compendium of information and contacts for the government in Los Alamos County. Printed copes are available at the libraries and senior centers in Los Alamos and White Rock.

Our voter service and citizen education activities are funded by the League of Women Voters Education Fund, which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization. Donations to the League of Women Voters Education Fund are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
